What We Do

PHAT Training’s main objective is to aid in facilitating active and healthy lifestyles in all people, all shapes and sizes. Sometimes there are larger concerns than washboard “abs” and rock hard “glutes”. The emphasis need be on feeling great about waking up every morning and experiencing a life full of joy, void of self doubt, and regret – a PHAT day! No matter what your goal (speed, weight-loss, strength, toning, maintenance, cardio, etc.) Our number one concern on our way to reaching it is health and safety.

We hope that people will place a greater amount of importance on a healthy balanced lifestyle; and through that will become more tolerant, strong, resistant, and happy. P.H.A.T. Training hopes to aid in changing people lives by unlocking the desire to be healthy in us all. There is no better time than now to get P.H.A.T.!

Personal Training

Personal training is one of the most effective ways to reach your goals. By getting PHAT personal training, you are receiving more than just a little push; you will be educated, and transformed into the person you commit to becoming.

Bootcamps

P.H.A.T. Training has been "boot camping" in the city of Edmonton since 2003. Our classes run summer, spring, fall and winter both indoor and outdoor. The creativity and thought put into each leaves our clients with a fun, result guaranteeing program sure to bring them and their friends back for more.

Corporate Wellness

The PHAT Corporate Initiative is our attempt to share the gift of fitness with as many organizations as we can. The basic principle is that we will come to YOU and provide you and your staff with a program designed specifically for your needs. Our main goal is to improve every client’s quality of life.

Jesse Lipscombe / President & Founder

Jesse Lipscombe has been active in the health and fitness industry, in some fashion, for the past 18 years. As a professional track athlete he has the practical knowledge to understand the drive, dedication, and passion it takes to achieve.

Stacey Hogbin / Partner & Training Manager

Stacey’s passion for health and fitness is contagious. She truly believes that fitness can be a part of anyone’s life, and she is committed to empowering others to live life to the fullest by adopting a healthy and fit lifestyle.

Lee Hodgins / Partner & Certified Fitness Coach

Lee Hodgins is Certified as a Personal Trainer Specialist through Can-Fit-Pro and has been a passionate fitness junkie most of his life. Lee became interested in extreme sports at an early age and spent nearly 16 years studying martial arts.

Jamie Postill / Head Certified Fitness Coach

Jamie is an IFBB Professional Figure athlete & Nutritionist and has been a health and fitness enthusiast for over half of her life. She believes that proper nutrition is essential in optimal health and wellness.

Cassarah Mclarty-Mueller / Personal Fitness Trainer

Cassarah is a knowledgeable and highly motivational trainer will a skill set to positively affect most she has contact with. Her ability to light up a room with her smile and passion for fitness is simply a bonus when working with this woman.

Lorelei Maher / Personal Fitness Trainer

Lorelei's hunger for knowledge and her love for people together created a super-trainer of sorts. One that will never stop learning and loving her clients until all their goals are achieved (she will never stop loving though...lol).
